White Rose Hub are a collection of maths specialists who have created, amongst other things, a home learning package. We use White Rose Hub in school and follow their teaching sequence, so what you are doing at home will be very similar to what your child would have been doing at school.
Within this package there is a video to watch that compensates, as best as it is possible, for the teaching that would have taken place in school. Each week will focus on a story, this week there are 2 stories ‘The Night Pirates’ and ‘The Troll’
You can listen to these stories being read by Miss Charman in the files below.
They have split the week up into 5 days with activities, it is probably easiest to see day 1 as Monday and day 2 as Tuesday etc. Each activity is based on Number or the language around Shape, Space and Measure. This week can be found under the tab ‘Summer Term- Week 2 (w/c 27 April)’ as pictured below-
As always, do not hesitate to contact us if you are struggling; you should have received a text with your child's teacher's email address on. The format of the email is firstname.lastname@example.org, for example Maple Class' email is email@example.com.
Thank you for your continued support,
The Reception Team
